Circuit of Ireland 2014 - Day 2 catch up

“We were flying yesterday” and thats quite literally too. Eugene reported a mixed but certainly encouraging day in the Colm Quinn MINI WRC as he tackled some 80 stage miles during day 1 of the Circuit of Ireland Rally. ” Ive had to adjust my driving style completely in the MINI” he said”. “This is the first real run we have had in the dry and the brakes, handling and cornering are phenomenal, we can carry so much more speed into the corners. Its nothing like driving the Skoda, or even the Subaru for that matter, the MINI has totally different characteristics. I’m still getting used to it, but I think we can improve again today…keep an eye on the times”.
The first stage of the day starts just before 9am.
